Dr. Paula Bell-Cross Senior Partner
Originally hailing from Zambia, Paula graduated in 1999 from Onderstepoort University in South Africa. She joined the practice in 2005 and became a partner in the practice in 2007. Paula has an interest in all aspects of equine veterinary medicine, but in particular, she has a special interest in Equine Reproduction and Medicine. Through these interests, she has undertaken postgraduate training in Equine Reproduction and completed a postgraduate Distance Education course in Equine Medicine through the University of Sydney. She is our dedicated reproduction vet and is obsessed with babies and embryos!
Paula has recently been expanding her knowledge of gastro-intestinal symptoms in equine patients and is making some amazing progress in diagnosing and treating stomach ulcers in horses. She is fast becoming our resident Gastroscope guru!
Although she loves her horsey babies, her number one love is her son Julian. She also enjoys fine dining, wine and spending time in her home away from home in peaceful Two Rocks. When she has the opportunity, she also loves going back to Zambia to see her family who are still there.
