Tam Waller Vet Nurse
Tam qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2001 and has spent majority of her career working in large equine referral centres. She has developed extensive experience in all fields of equine nursing over her career and has a particular interest in referral surgery and intensive care cases.
Tam is passionate about all things equine and even outside of work spends her time, surrounded by horses. She regularly completes in show jumping (up to World Cup level) or you might find her down at the track following one of her pacers or gallopers that she has a share in.
She has recently taken a special interest in equine gut health and is enjoying the regular Gastroscopes being performed at the clinic.
“I love intensive care cases and surgery, looking after sick and injured horses is a dream job to me. My main passion now is in gut health in equines, I love all the gastroscopes that we are performing here in the clinic and all the new research we now have on hindguts is exciting!”
